Our Team

Our people are our backbone. We’re passionate about the environment and committed to the safe and efficient management of our projects. The Glascott Landscape & Civil team comprises a core group of specialists who oversee each project from concept to completion. Our project delivery teams includes highly experienced engineers, project managers, builders, carpenters, landscapers, horticulturalists and bush regenerators – all members of a loyal team, many having been with us for over a decade or longer.

Among other responsibilities, our Project Managers supervise and monitor our projects throughout delivery. They liaise with and delegate work to employees and sub-contractors, undertake a risk analysis at every construction site, ensure health and safety and environmental controls are in place and effective at all times, making sure plant and equipment inspections and maintenance are regularly undertaken and of course, ensuring the works undertaken meet our clients’ stated requirements and specifications.

Glascott Landscape and Civil has Advisory Board consisting of experts who guide our business and management team so we can continue to deliver landscapes we’re proud to put our name to.

Matthew GlascottMatthew Glascott – Managing Director
Highly regarded in the industry, Matthew has over 30 years of structural landscaping and civil construction experience. He has been involved in the delivery of a large number of high profile projects for various clients including the State and Local Government, large developers, builders, architects and numerous construction companies. Matthew guides his dedicated team instilling his passion for landscaping and a vision to deliver high quality projects that leave a lasting legacy. Matthew also sits on the Board of Directors at the Royal Botanic Gardens and is Director of Foundation & Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens.

 

 

Matthew BourkeMatthew Bourke – General Manager
Advanced Certificate in Horticulture
Matt has over 30 years’ experience and extensive knowledge of large-scale landscape construction. He joined Glascott Landscape & Civil in its infancy, growing with the business to become General Manager. Matt is responsible for a national team of over 130 people in New South Wales, Queensland, the Australian Capital Territory and Victoria. He oversees operations, working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the business is managed effectively and sustainably, and maintaining the highest standard of project delivery. Matt is also an Advisory Board member, proving critical input into the direction and long-term strategy of the business.

 

 

Matthew Tancred – National Client Manager
Landscape Trades Certificate, Certificate in Bush Regeneration
While it’s not mandatory for your first name to be the same as the boss’s in order to work for Glascott, it must help, as our National Client Manager is Matthew Tancred. With over 25 years of structural landscaping experience, Matthew has delivered a wide range of spectacular projects, notably $4m Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour, the $14m Coal Loader Green Roof project also on Sydney Harbour and the $5m Charlestown Oval, in Charlestown NSW. With a genuine enthusiasm for the industry, an amazing work ethic and a ‘can-do’ attitude, Matthew is an expert in building relationships, looking after our clients and driving new business aligned with our goals.

 

 

Scott Redshaw – NSW Manager
Landscape Trade Certificate, Applied Project Management – Australian Institute of Management, Project Management Practitioner – Australian Institute of Management, Diploma of Project Management – Australian Institute of Management, WHS for Managers and Supervisors, OHS White card, Senior First Aid
Scott has over 26 years’ experience in landscape construction and has worked on many significant projects over this time including the Equestrian Centre for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, the Sydney Showground at Olympic Park and Jordan Springs Residential Community.  Scott utilises his experience, knowledge and passion to lead his team in our NSW division. His ability to develop excellent relationships with stakeholders and his great work ethic make him a highly effective manager.

 

 

Matthew Elliott – ACT Manager
Diploma of Project Management
Matthew uses his 11 years of experience in landscape and civil works to lead his team in providing high-end landscape construction throughout the Canberra region. This experienced is demonstrate in the effective delivery of of numerous projects around the ACT and NSW. Matthew enjoys collaborating with clients and leading his team of landscape experts, sub contractors and suppliers, to ensure first class project outcomes.

 

 

Brett Frostick – QLD Manager
Bachelor of Built Environment QUT 2000, Grad Cert Landscape Architecture QUT 2002, Grad Cert Project Management QUT 2004, Cert III Landscape Construction 2015, Cert III Civil Plant 2018
Brett is a highly skilled manager and brings the experience of working on both sides of the desk – as a Landscape Architect and a Landscape Contractor. His 20 years’ of industry experience combined with his skills means he has a complete understanding of all aspects needed to complete projects on time, to budget and to the way they were designed. Brett leads his teams to work collaboratively towards best project outcome for clients.

 

 

Andrew Gualano – VIC Manager
Advanced Certificate of Horticulture, Certificate in Landscape Gardening, Traffic Control, Roadwork Signage and Safety, First Aid, OH & S Management
Andrew is highly experienced in landscape construction having held various management roles over the past 23 years including running his own landscaping business. His broad range of skills and knowledge make him an effective manager, experienced in large and detailed project delivery. Andrew’s experience includes public spaces, large commercial and residential developments and sports facilities like Margret Court Arena and Collingwood Football Club. He thrives on new challenges and working closely with clients and his team to create projects that stand the test of time.

 

 

David Minogue – National WHS Manager
Post-Graduate Diploma of OH&S Systems Management University of New England, Diploma Applied Sciences (Nursing) University of Western Sydney, Auditor Certifications – QA and WHS, Plant Risk Assessment, ICAM (Incident Causation Analysis Method) Certification, Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training, Construction General Induction, Return to Work Coordinator Certificate, Apply First Aid, Asbestos Awareness
David holds a key role in our organisation managing and improving our integrated Health, Safety, Environment and Quality system and practices. Glascott holds Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) accreditation and are committed to excellence in WHS. David’s 20 plus years of experience, along with his educational background, ensures our ongoing compliance and continued commitment to best practice and setting benchmarks in our industry.
