Site preparation and earthworks are now underway at The Water Lane Reserve in Box Hill, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for this major community project delivered in partnership with The Hills Shire Council.
Spanning approximately 8 hectares, the reserve is being transformed into a premier sport and recreation precinct designed to support the rapidly growing Box Hill community. Early works focus on establishing the foundations that will enable the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive and resilient public space.
Once complete, The Water Lane Reserve will feature dual-use natural turf AFL fields and athletics facilities, a new amenities pavilion, car parking and coach access, play and picnic areas, shared pathways, lighting and extensive landscaping – all supported by sustainable water reuse systems.
With works progressing on site and completion scheduled for October 2026, Glascott Landscape and Civil is proud to bring its experience in award-winning community sports infrastructure to this project, continuing our strong partnership with local government to deliver enduring spaces for active, connected communities.
