Glascott to deliver the Cook Park Precinct Upgrade

Glascott has been appointed by Penrith City Council to deliver the Cook Park Precinct Upgrade, a $27.62 million transformation of one of St Marys’ most heavily used sporting grounds. The project will bring a new amenities building, a refurbished grandstand and a new synthetic turf field to Nepean Football Club, home to three full-size football fields, a modified field and Bill Ball Oval – all in regular use for local, regional and state competition.

The upgrade is designed to double the ground’s weekly playing capacity, opening it up to year-round use and around twice as many players, supported by upgraded floodlighting and additional seating. Delivery follows years of planning, including community consultation in 2024 and environmental review in early 2026, and builds on the park’s new playspace, completed in February 2026. The project will be led by Travis Atkins, Glascott’s highly experienced Project Manager, who was responsible for the delivery of Gipps Street Recreation Precinct.
