Marking Glascott’s first project for Western Sydney Parklands (WSP), the Grey Box Gum Dam Boardwalk & Viewing Deck involved the construction of a new elevated boardwalk and platform to improve accessibility while protecting the surrounding natural environment.

Working closely with WSP, the project was delivered under challenging constraints, including high groundwater levels, restricted access and strict environmental controls, particularly around the dam – a freshwater ecosystem. With a tight pre-Christmas deadline, the project was successfully delivered on time, with a high-quality outcome that enhance the natural area. The success of this partnership has led to further opportunities with Western Sydney Parklands.
