In partnership with Sutherland Shire Council, Glascott continues to make steady progress at Seymour Shaw Park, with strong momentum achieved across multiple work fronts this week.
On site, crews have been forming and pouring the in-situ concrete planter box retaining walls, a key structural component that will support both landscaping and site durability. At the same time, subgrade preparations are advancing for the new concrete footpaths, laying the groundwork for improved accessibility and movement throughout the park.
Earthworks teams have also progressed works across the southern end of the site, spreading stockpiled topsoil and commencing filling and compaction activities. These works are essential in preparing the area for the next stages of construction and landscaping.
Inside the Amenities Building, internal blockwork walls are nearing completion, with core filling scheduled shortly. This milestone marks an important step forward in the delivery of functional, well-designed facilities that will support future park users.
