90 cubic metres of concrete. 11,000m² of turf!
Progress is taking shape at Seymour Shaw Park. We recently completed a major concrete pour for the new amenities building, delivered by our subcontract builder partner, Momentum Built. The structure will house change rooms, public toilets, referees facilities, storage and plant areas, while the roof will become an elevated viewing platform for spectators.
On the field, the first stage of Tahoma 31 sports turf is now being laid using maxi-rolls. At approximately 11,000m², this represents around 50% of the total 23,800m² sports field area. The larger rolls reduce joins across the surface, creating a cleaner and more seamless finish.
