Glascott renews Federal Safety Commissioner accreditation for a further six years

Glascott has renewed its Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) accreditation, reinforcing our position as a leader in workplace health and safety across the landscape construction industry.

We have held FSC accreditation since 2017, when we became the first landscape contractor in Australia to achieve this nationally recognised standard. The renewed six-year accreditation period recognises Glascott’s continued high levels of compliance, with the company retaining its low-risk rating for non-compliance under the OFSC Risk Framework.

What this means for our clients

FSC accreditation provides independent assurance that Glascott has robust work health and safety systems in place, supported by processes to manage risk and maintain safe working environments across our projects.

For clients, this means greater confidence in how we manage safety, our people and our responsibilities on site. It also supports our eligibility to tender for certain Australian Government-funded construction projects.

What this means for our people

Safety is about more than policies and procedures. It’s about ensuring our employees and subcontractors have the knowledge, training and support to work safely, identify risks and look out for one another.

Renewing our accreditation is an important milestone, but our commitment goes beyond compliance. It’s about making safety part of every decision, every project and every working day.

Glascott’s HSEQ Manager, Elliott Humphries, said the reaccreditation was a significant achievement for the business and its teams.

“I couldn’t be prouder of our teams, who work together to consistently apply a high-performing HSEQ management system across our projects. This reaccreditation is tangible evidence of that commitment and sets us apart in our industry.”

At Glascott, safety is a responsibility we take seriously, and a standard we are committed to maintaining.
